Video Downloader To Capture YouTube Videos and More

For those wanting to grab videos from YouTube for playback on other devices, this technique seems simple enough.  It works as an application outside your browser as a small application.  The Windows application can be downloaded from:  https://www.4kdownload.com/products/product-videodownloader

Download the file, unzip the file from the download directory (right click and extract all), and install.

To use the application just open your web browser (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and navigate to a page with your video (like youtube).  Then highlight the link from the main address bar and copy the entire link (Ctrl+ C).

Highlight Address Link, Copy (Ctrl+C)

Open the 4K Video Downloader application you just installed and click the large green PLUS icon to Paste Link.

As shown in the above graphic you may que more than one video at a time.  You can even download an entire library from a single publisher but I wouldn’t recommend this feature for large publishers.

After clicking the Plus Paste Link icon the Download Clip menu pops up to select your resolution. From the pop-up menu select from 4K, 2K, 1080, 720, etc.  Make your choice depending upon the ultimate destination for your video.  If you plan to use the video on your new 4K large screen LCD display, then by all means use the 4K setting.  Pay attention to the anticipated size of your download in the last column.  The 19.5 GB file size for the 4K download may take a while.

By default, your downloaded videos (when finished downloading) will end up in your My Videos folder in a sub-folder named 4K Video Downloader.

You may now move your video to the device of your choice.
